Gerhard Beck practiced law for eight years.  During that time, he automated his law practice and determined that he like developing software better than practicing law.  In 1988 Gerhard became the Document Assembly Manager at a firm developing internet solutions for a major legal publisher.  Since then Gerhard has been a technical lead at a number of different positions.  Gerhard has also lead efforts for ISO-9000 and CMMI certifications.  Gerhard has spent the last 10 years working enterprise architecture issues for the Office of Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence.     During that time he managed four DI2E Plufest events from 2013 to 2016.
